David has enjoyed success as a Conductor and Performer at high profile events including the London 2012 Olympics Opening Ceremony, the BBC Strictly Come Dancing Christmas Special and the Royal Variety Performance.
David is one of the world’s leading conductors of Film with Live Orchestra, and Disney’s principal conductor in the UK, having conducted premieres and UK, European and International tours of titles including Marvel’s Infinity Saga, The Jungle Book, Beauty and the Beast, Encanto, Mary Poppins, the Star Wars trilogy, Pixar in Concert, Toy Story, Hocus Pocus, The Muppet Christmas Carol, Black Panther, Grease, La La Land, Avatar: The Last Airbender, Joker, The Holiday, Spider-Man: Into the Spiderverse, and Spider-Man: Across the Spiderverse, also acting as Music Supervisor for the latter four.
As founder and artistic director of The Novello Orchestra, appearances include the Wales Millennium Centre’s 10th Anniversary production Broadway to the Bay, Live with Pink Martini, A Night at the Musicals, Movie Mixtape, Heart and Soul, Christmas on Broadway, The Golden Age of Dance (Theatre Royal Drury Lane), Broadway in Concert (The London Palladium), West End Proms (UK Festival Tour), Mazz Murray: The Music of Dusty Springfield, and Disney’s The Sound of Magic (UK Premiere, London Coliseum).

David is the conductor of Ministry of Sound Classical (with annual performances at London’s Royal Albert Hall and international / festival touring), collaborating with artists such as trailblazing organist Anna Lapwood and Rag ‘n’ Bone Man. He regularly conducts renowned mezzo soprano Katherine Jenkins, including her performance at BST Hyde Park, supporting Andrea Bocelli to an audience of 50,000, making it the largest outdoor classical concert of the century.
He is a Visiting Director at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama, and has appeared as Guest Conductor with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, RTÉ National Symphony Orchestra, Cape Town Philharmonic, London Concert Orchestra, Manchester Concert Orchestra, Flanders Philharmonic, Evergreen Symphony Orchestra, Taiwan Philharmonic, National Taiwan Symphony Orchestra, Orchestre Philharmonique du Luxembourg, Hungarian Studio Orchestra, Orchestre National de Lille and Orchestra Sinfonica di Milano.
